Well what a fantastic, relaxing and enlightening evening we had with our very own Broadbridge Bombshell Claire! I think it may be my favourite meeting since our inception... Claire who runs a beauty salon in Broadbridge Heath called Claire's Beauty, came to talk to us about a product which she is very passionate about: the Tropic beauty and skincare range, and from the first touch and smell of one of the products I could understand why.
Many of us are very aware of the importance of putting the right food into our bodies for optimum health, but are we as savvy in the area of skincare and makeup products? It stands to reason when you think about it that something that you put, and leave on your skin all day will absorb into your blood stream and this actually happens much faster that you would think... so your makeup and skincare products could be adversely affecting your health. With Tropic products you needn't worry, a company which is at the forefront of green science Tropic strives to use natural, effective ingredients to promote the overall health of our skin and all products are freshly made to order... you only need to look at the labels to see that the ingredients are all recognisable and not a list of chemicals that you've never heard of.
You can also be sure that the products are all 100% cruelty-free, they never test on animals nor use derivatives that cause them distress and as a result Tropic is endorsed by PETA and The Vegan Society. Tropic is also a carbon neutral company which provides refills for many products, reducing waste to landfill and is an organisation which prides itself with giving back by raising money for two children's charities and partnering United World Schools to fund education for some of the world's poorest children.
So onto the business of pampering ourselves... we started off cleansing our faces with the most delicious smelling Smoothing Cleanser, aromas of jojoba, sweet almond, green tea extract, eucalyptus and rosemary wafted up as we massaged two pumps of this creamy cleanser into our faces. This was washed off with a flannel and warm water and repeated, then followed by a mist of the Vitamin Toner: rose water, aloe vera, cucumber juices, equally delicious. Lastly Skin Feast Nourishing Cream Concentrate which is a luxurious moisturiser containing Australian kakadu plum, berry seed oils and the long-lasting hydrating ingredients: hyaluronic acid and ectoin.
We also had the chance to sample three different face masks and serums. At the end of the evening we all felt completely relaxed and our skin felt fabulous. So thank you Claire!
